To put it simply, the Pinhawk SL irons are revolutionary! SL stands for "single length", and that is what this iron set was designed to be: single length golf clubs. Every iron head in the 5-PW set weighs the same, and that allows all the clubs to be the exact same length, and have the exact same feel and flex. Why have 6 different swings with a 5-PW set, when you can have just one? This helps you "groove" one swing, on one single plane, and leads to the ultimate in consistency.
You may say: "Well, I belive the concept is great, but why can't I just cut my current clubs down to all the same length?" Honestly, that would do much more harm than good, because the head weights and lie angles were not designed for that purpose. It would lead to the clubs being too stiff, and too flat to be used properly.
This concept is not new. Moe Norman, former PGA player and premium ball striker used this very method. Tommy Armour sold millions of sets of the "EQL" irons that were a similar concept. But right now, in the golf business, the Pinhawk's are one of the only games in town.
Here's what some of our customers have said:
"I've lowered my score by 6 strokes"
"I'm striking the ball better than I have in quite some time"
"these are super easy to hit"
"I'm making center of face contact on all my irons"
Need we say more?
These are made to me built at a typical 6 iron length, but you can choose to have them made to a 7 or even 8 iron length if you think that would suit you better.
